A brief bit about me. I’m originally from the US, but have lived in Europe since 2005, most of that where I live now, a vibrant and charming small country of which you may or may not have heard. I live here with my extraordinary wife (also an expat from her country of origin) and our impertinent cat.

I’ve long had an interest in writing and since my early teens a passion for theatre. I trained as an actor and had a long professional theatre career, working mostly as an actor, sometimes in later years as a director, often writing plays as well. About a third of the couple of dozen or so plays I’ve written have been produced, mostly by smallish professional theatres.
In recent years, my writing has focused far more on fiction. I written numerous short stories, completed a novel (as of this writing I am in the querying phase), and have started a new novel.
Along the way, I’ve had a few things published in academic journals, and have written dozens of theatre reviews, mostly for the online English-language version of the main newspaper in the country where I live.
I’ll leave it there for now. Thank you for your visit. Please stop back and watch the site develop and grow. I will be developing newsletter, and invite you to sign up. It will initially appear about four times a year. Being on many newsletter lists, I intend no more than ten or so editions per year at most.
